I just wanted to say that in a industry full of “fitness pirates”, it’s great to learn from someone who actually is an innovator, not an imitator.
John Brookfield is definitely an innovator! When I trained with John during my Battling Ropes Level-1 Certification, I was deeply impacted by the level of knowledge & understanding he showed about physical conditioning.
This is not the case with those who steal ideas, and try to call them their own.
There is only one original of anything, and John is that for sure!

Yes you are so correct! John knows what he’s talking about. Sure anyone can sell a rope, but people will never get the specialized knowledge that John has from a “copy cat” who’s trying to pretend they invented the idea. Just because you buy a rope from copy cat does not mean you know how to use it properly to get the proven results that come from using John’s system. Good news, though! The “copy cats” are falling by the wayside as John’s system becomes more and more popular which just goes to prove that the inventor of the system knows more than some one who’s trying to make a fast buck by stealing his system. The truth always prevails!

Thanks so much for your positive words and support of the Battling Ropes Training System. When John called me in 2006 to tell me that God gave him the idea for a new training system I was very interested and took a leap of faith and flew out for training and certification. Little did I know that I was the second person in the world that he had certified in this new method. Also I never expected that it would become my full time job! Well God surely does work in mysterious ways.

Excellent comments about these “Fitness Pirates” out here, claiming to be pioneers of the ropes; or those that claim to know everything about the ropes. I was fortunate and blessed to train one/one with John at his home in NC, this past April 2010; and what I learned from him, can not be duplicated through any certification. It was well worth the fee; obtaining the certification through John in person. I look forward to working with John and Bruce in the future! Keep providing the faith Bruce!
